Choosing a location for Hawaii weddings, has it’s pros and cons depending on the location. Wedding ceremony at Lanikuhonua in Koolina make beautiful Hawaii weddings (settings), but the beach can get very crowded sometimes There are many other beaches in Honolulu with less crowd to choose from. It is just individual choice of what is important to the couple. This is the only public beach for this resort, the rests of the lagoons are private. Linnea Wilder and Ian Tinker chose Koolina since it is located in the west Oahu area, far from the south shores of Waikiki. On March 20, 2015, they arrived via limousine, on a long drive from Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. On this day, there were many people at the beach, but Rev. Kimo Taylor found a spot to marry them. Dressed in Hawaiian robe, he began the ceremony with the blowing of the conch shell. For Hawaii weddings, a minister with Hawaiian blood is lucky to be found for Linnea and Ian, as requested. A ceremony in English mixed with Hawaiian was enjoyed by the couple. They are a handsome couple from San Diego, California. Beautiful marriage vows, with a time to express their feelings to each other, beautiful rings were exchanged. Hawaii weddings traditionally performs the unity sand ceremony, combining their lives together, a beautiful experience. Hawaii weddings also presents the lei exchange, the gift of love with two kisses to each cheek. Before pronouncing them husband and wife, Rev. Kimo gave a prayer in Hawaiian, and blew the conch shell with a long breath for them to have a long kiss. Congratulations to the new Linnea an Ian Tinker!!! Hawaii weddings, beautiful, and memories to last forever with beautiful pictures and video. A long ride back to Waikiki to celebrate their new beginning with memories of Hawaii weddings on the western shores of Oahu. Thank you much for sharing your beautiful day with us.
