On this special day, Rev. Mike Nelson gave them a intimate Hawaiian wedding ceremony they will forever remember . The marriage vows were exchanged with smiles galore, beautiful rings were blessed and placed on the left wedding finger (some countries use the right) repeating “with this ring I take you…” Almost married, but to seal the unity, a symbolic sand ceremony was enjoyed of their uniting as a couple, and family. The Hawaiian tradition of a Hawaii wedding is the exchanging of flower leis. It is symbol of giving a gift of love. White orchid leis were wrapped around their clasped hands, and Rev. Mike blessed the marriage. Short words of love from each to each other. Leis draped on each other with kisses on each cheek and the announcement of the newly wedded couple, Iva and Banco. The wedding certificate were signed and pictures were taken The day was perfect for Iva and Banco to frollick in the shallow waters and the sand. They had so much fun posing for pictures playing and walking in the water and sandy beach. They will forever remember their Hawaii wedding.
