A gathering of couples, children, and family, no stress, just fun and smiles.  Today’s delightful couple, Stacy and Ellis DeGraffenreid are so in love, they radiate happiness. After 35 years of delightful marriage, deciding to end their Hawaii vacation with a Hawaii vow renewal ceremony was a no brainer.  What a perfect end/beginning to a fun vacation in Hawaii.  On August 29, 2016, beautiful Stacy with loving husband Ellis arrived early at Waialae Beach Park. Casually dressed, but very smartly chic, we were greeted with smiles and hugs. What a wonderful delightful couple we were so fortunate to meet. Rev. Michael Nelson, being one of the best ministers in the island, delighted them with Aloha and quick to personalize his Hawaii vow renewal ceremony for them.  A beautiful day, strolling in the sand toward Kahala Beach for their ceremony.  The call of the conch by Rev. Mike to announce that something very special was about to happen.  Before the saying of their vows, they agreed and promised to accept each other once again in matrimony and continue to blend their lives together.  In doing so, they combined sands from two vials into one decorative bag, the traditional Hawaiian sand ceremony. Beautiful and memorable vows, ring exchange, and words of love with lei exchange. They are so in love, they were in a world of their own. Very touching moments of love.  They danced together with their special music, it was so delightful and charming. A Hawaii vow renewal we present the renewed Stacy and Ellis of Chula Vista, California. They celebrated with dinner at the Top of Waikiki Restaurant. A beautiful gift from Ellis to Stacy the day before, a beautiful wave shaped necklace/dangling earring set.  How sweet.  Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to meet you. Hope you enjoy the many photos to remind you of this beautiful Hawaii vow renewal ceremony.  Aloha.

My Hawaii wedding

A beautiful Hawaii wedding for Destiny Guise and Jim Portillo of Riverside, California on August 11, 2016  at Waimanalo Beach Park, Sherwood Forest.  What a beautiful day, with miles and miles of  white sandy beach, the ocean sparkled with blue aqua waters.  What a background for the Hawaii wedding of Destiny and Jim Portillo.  They arrived with loved ones, so excited that they headed straight for the beach and had to be recalled to the wedding location. Rev. Michael Nelson’s Hawaii wedding ceremony incorporated the children of Destiny and Jim. Destiny’s two girls, Jim’s two boys. What a family who seem to bond so well.  They all were casual but well dressed with matching outfits. The most memorable part of the ceremony was when their Mom and Dad presented white orchid leis to each child, with a special message for each individual. A ceremony of real love. The Hawaii wedding began with Rev. Mike on the conch.  The unity sand ceremony, the marriage vows, promise of commitment to each other, as well as to their children. I will love you forever, pledging to cherish in sacred union.  The shining beautiful never ending circle of the rings, as a gift of the vow promising never to be broken.  Reflecting on it’s beauty as well as it’s meaning.  Exchanging of rings were performed.  The traditional lei exchange, wrapping of the leis onto the hands of Destiny and Jim, a blessing was said union.  Each had words of love and thank you for each other before the lei presentation. Congratulations to the new Destiny and Jim Portillo.   Mahalo and enjoy your many photos for your memories.
