There are so many grooms getting involved in planning of Hawaii weddings. It is so nice to see the love and sharing of each couple. The sharing of planning initiated by the groom are more common these days compared to a decade ago. Omar Vasquez and Janet Sobalvardo chose Sept. 24, 2016 as their special date of their Hawaii wedding. Choosing Waialae Beach as their location, which is around five miles from Waikiki, with beautiful sandy beaches and ocean view of Koko head. Palm trees and garden like areas often used in Hawaii weddings, called Kahala Beach just stroll away in the sand. Omar was so conscientious, he was always in touch with us for details. A limousine was secured to bring his bride Janet, their daughters, grandmother and Janet’s Mom to the park. Omar and their two sons arrived early to set the scene. They brought flower leis for the aisleway. We supplied him with two chairs for the ladies to sit on during the ceremony. Due to walking difficulty for grandma, we decided on Hawaii weddings on the sand over the bridge. Omar is very caring and a great person. He was dressed in a gray outfit with matching vest, looking cool. Rev. Michael Nelson had him facing the ocean so he could not see Janet. Pretty daughters dressed in pink, beautiful Janet, white beaded gown and a bouquet of flowers. Conch shell to announce the start of the ceremony, as Omar turned to watch his daughters with flower petals. Here comes the bride, greeted by the smiling groom. The combining of lives and family with the unity sand ceremony. Beautiful vows and commitment. Everything in circles with no ending the rings, the leis of Aloha. Hawaii weddings of Aloha Janet and Omar will forever remember. Most importantly of all, supporting them on this day, their sons and daughters. Their Mom and grandmother smiling with love. Congratulations, enjoy your many photos. Mahalo so much for having us. A wedding in Hawaii.
