I will love you forever Hawaii weddings

Hawaii weddings with focus on sharing their special day with family and loved ones are priorities for some traveling to Hawaii. This was especially so for Lauren and Greg from Australia. Their cute and well dressed son and daughter were to be part of their very Hawaii wedding ceremony on Friday, the fourth of May 2018. Waialae Beach on the sand with a ocean view and the little island off Kahala, with Koko head in the background. On a clear day, the island of Maui, Molokai and Lanai can be seen far beyond the horizon. As a close family, transportation was important for loved ones, providing two stretch limousines from Waikiki to wedding location, then to Duke’s in Waikiki to celebrate. Beautiful Lauren, smartly dressed in off white gown, tall and handsome Greg looked sharp in casuals. The many colorfully dressed adults and eight children dressed in pastel party clothes were a happy, cheerful crowd. Reverend Mike Nelson and Roger always creates a relaxed Aloha atmosphere making people laugh. As the limousines arrived they were greeted by the sounds of ukulele played by professional singer, Baron. All guest gathered on the sandy dune creating one line on the left. Bride and groom crosses the bridge with camera flashing. The bridal party will begin with their children first followed by the bride and groom. The sounding of the conch, the children walks up the path, second sounding of the conch and the Hawaiian wedding song as the couple comes up the altar. We begin all Hawaii weddings with a welcome of Aloha, using the calling sound of the conch by our ministers. A ceremony with their children and loved ones cheering them on, Hawaii weddings at it’s best. The most beautiful vows of “I will love you forever” they exchanged flower leis and kukui nut leis with each other as well the children. The new Greg and Lauren sealed their union with a kiss with Baron singing a love song for them. The gang ran to hug and congratulate the newlyweds. Thanks for having us on your special day, you are such wonderful people.

Hawaii vow renewals anniversary celebrations

A beautiful wedding 16 years ago, Kelly and Russ began thinking about the idea of Hawaii vow renewals and a second honeymoon. What a great idea, getting a place to stay in the country side of Oahu, near Laie, beautiful and peaceful. In fact, Russ went zip lining four hours before coming to renew their vows. This wonderful couple comes from Elyria, Ohio having some acreage of land to enjoy. Hawaii vow renewals bring back happy memories of their original wedding day. This time, though what Hawaii vow renewals offer them are totally different, but give them the same feeling and meaning of marriage. Sixteen years together in wedded bliss, and they look so much “still in love”. On May 1, 2018, which is considered Lei day in Hawaii, they arrived at Waialae Beach Park after a long drive from the countryside. A day so beautiful, we could see the outer island from Kahala Beach. Strolling in the sandy beach, the vision of Haleakala mountain of Maui, and the island of Molokai. A vague view of Lanai also. An unusual sight, we feel it was a good luck Omen for Kelly and Russ. Blessings for their sixteenth wedding anniversary. For this special day, Kelly looked beautiful dressed in a darker tan silky dress. Russ looked great in brown trousers and white long sleeved shirt. The spot we used for their vow renewal was a green grassy are with coconut trees swaying above. Soft sound of gentle waves washing up on the beach. Reverend Mike began his vow renewal ceremony with the sounding of his conch shell, to announce the beginning of a special celebration. All Hawaii vow renewals of ours are just like our Hawaii wedding ceremonies, except for a few change of words. A beautiful sand ceremony is performed to continue mixing their lives together. The traditional marriage vows, the rings, added to the Hawaiian tradition of offering the gift of Aloha, exchange of flower leis with kisses on each cheek make up a memorable Hawaii vow renewal ceremony. What a beautiful ceremony reminding Russ and Kelly of their original wedding day. Congratulations to such a fine couple. Mahalo for having us.
