A Wedding in Hawaii for Oahu couple

Jan. 26, 2013 was “Da Day” for Chanel Edwards and Tunu Amani of Waianae, Hawaii.  They arrived with their children dressed in beautiful Aloha print attire, the whole family dressed alike.  Beautiful exotic looking Chanel and good looking Tunu, a mixed blend of Polynesian ancestry..were welcomed by Reverend Mike Nelson.  Although the weather was voggy, a beautiful sight with Kahala Beach in the background.  The girls were given flower leis and the boys black kukui nut leis.  A beautiful ceremony as the children watched their parents get married, emotional moments for Chanel & Tunu, a few tears were shed. There first gift to each other after being pronounced husband and wife, were a double white and purple orchid flower lei for her, a green t-leaf hand woven lei for him.  Lots of kisses and hugs.  Lots of photo taken to treasure forever. The family celebrated by going to the luau at Paradise Cove.  congratulations and mahalo, guys.!

Beach weddings in Hawaii – Christina and Dennis

What a gorgeous day for a wedding at Waialae Beach! June 20, 2012 was selected as their special day by lovely Christina Notdurft and Dennis Mieke. Planning to have a wedding in Hawaii from Germany, was much easier then expected for them. Such a delightful couple, so in love and so-o-o cute. They arrived via our limo (pictures taken as they embarked with smiles) and then met by our Rev. Mike Nel

son with much aloha. Off to the beach location to get married, what a beautiful scene. Rev Mike did, as usual personalize their vows for the couple. Pictures were taken, with the wedding ceremony video taped. They have many beautiful memories to take back home with them to show those who could not attend. Beautiful leis were exchanged, Rev Mike blew his conch shell in four directions. Her bouquet was a perfect match for their purple leis. A beautiful set of portraits, a love story scene fon the video are a perfect keepsake. Off they went on the limo with chilling champagne to celebrate. They went to the Hau Tree Lanai for dinner and really enjoyed it. They will spend a whole week between Maui and Kauai islands before returning to Germany.

Aloha and Mahalo, Mr. & Mrs Dennis Mieke. We enjoyed planning your wedding and meeting such a nice couple.

Hope to see you once again some day. Shaka (hang loose) and Aloha!
