Small intimate Hawaii weddings

They currently reside in Hawaii, she recently arrived from the Philippines about three weeks ago to join him as he works in Honolulu. Beautiful and sweet Nizza Pastelero and her handsome husband to be, Joshua Amphlett decided just recently to have us plan their simple wedding.  Just the two of them with families far away, simply the idea of Hawaii weddings at the beach danced in their dreams. So the chosen special date became August 26, 2017 Saturday at Kahala Beach. We finally met them that morning and we could feel their love and connection between them. She was stylishly dressed in a white strapless wedding gown with a train to help create the wedding portrait we like. She held a Japanese rice paper umbrella that said “just married” If the tradewind behaves, we will use it for a photo prop. They both wore gray matching snickers, so cute as well as smart, for walking in the sand. Joshua was in a gray outfit with a vest. A beautiful couple. Reverend Michael Nelson arrived to greet them with Aloha and prepared to make sure they had their marriage license and rings. With all the Hawaii weddings we do, you will be surprised how many couples forget to bring their marriage license with them to the location. As planners  we do have that information on their confirmation and verbal reminder upon arrival in Hawaii. Nizza and Joshua definitely had theirs as well the rings from Na Hoku. A romantic stroll on the beach with very few people (on a Saturday) at the beach. The beginning of the wedding of Nizza and Joshua, the sound of soft waves blended with the sound of the conch blown by Reverend Mike. The unity sand ceremony, the romantic vow exchange lovingly looking into each other’s eyes, holding hands, smiling so happily. The ring vows, the blessing, the lei exchange.  Such a memorable wedding ceremony. Rev. Mike announces the new Joshua and Nizza Amphlett. Congratulations and our Mahalo.
