Beach Hawaii Wedding by wedaloha.com (A wedding in Hawaii)

February 4, 2013, the day they have been waiting for has finally arrived!  Here comes the limousine with Rachel Peterson and Shawn Eccles, their little baby girl, and proud grandpa and grandma…smiling happily with the sound of ukulele in the background.  Cameras flashed away for their memories.  Rachel beautiful and radiant, Shawn tall handsome beamed with happiness.  Proud and smiling Grand pa holding the cutest little girl, with grandma beaming with pride.  Rev. Michael David Nelson greeted everyone with deep Aloha as ukulele-singer Baron Bento sang away.  They all walked to a beautiful spot on the beach (almost like their own island).  But wait, grandma rushed back to retrieve the rings in the limo.  A beautiful, sunny day with blue waters yonder (not much waves) toward Kahala with the site of a little islet in the water, and further on to Kokohead crater. They can look forward to a quiet serene wedding.  Professional singer/ukulele player, Baron Bento began the ceremony with the Hawaiian wedding song.  Rev. Mike personalized the wedding vows and ceremony for the couple.  Beautiful wedding vows to each other, blessing of the rings, an exchange of flower leis (beautiful orchids mixture of white & purple). A special song was dedicated to the newly wed by the beautiful sounds of ukulele and Baron’s singing.  Pronounced Mr. & Mrs. Shawn Eccles and signing of the license and the souvenir wedding certificate.  Kisses and hugs all around!  What a nice couple and family.  Many portraits, photos taken for them to remember their very special day.  As they had their photo session, they were been serenaded by the sounds of the uke. Rachel & Shawn are from Chico, California and he is a fireman. Happy couple, daughter and mom/dad relaxed on the limo and celebrated with some champagne.  Thank you so much for sharing your day with us.  We truly enjoyed meeting you, and Roger & Mike had a great time doing what they love to do.  Mahalo & Aloha!

A beautiful Hawaii wedding vow renewal on the beach

On Wednesday January 23, 2013, a cloudy day, but still beautiful, Janet and Todd Auen were eager to celebrate their 25th vow renewal ceremony.  They arrived extra early in their yellow convertible from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We enjoyed meeting them, such a nice, wonderful couple from Brentwood, California. Janet and Todd, very young in appearance although married for 25 years, have a son and a daughter between them.  Janet looked very pretty and sweet in a simple, but attractive white dress; and Todd looked cool in Khaki shorts and white shirt, perfect for a Hawaii beach ceremony.  Our Rev. Michael Nelson, as always did a fantastic vow renewal ceremony.  This couple, showing so much love for each other, got very emotional during the very special personal ceremony created by Rev. Mike.  Tears shed, engulfed by happiness and joy, a flower lei exchanged. And then of course the kiss!   Congratulations, you’ve done it again.  So many images captured of this very special time for your enjoyment to share.  Janet is a manager at a Walgreen drug store and Todd, manager for a lumber company.  I bet they are excellent in what they do, they seem so organized & people oriented.  So nice to meet such very nice people.  Hopefully, you celebrated by having dinner at Sarento’s Italian Restaurant on the top of the Ilikai.  They were just voted one of the top 3 most romantic restaurant in Honolulu.  Mr. & Mrs. Todd Auen, Aloha and Mahalo for sharing your special time with us. Take care & come back to Hawaii again.

Wedding-thank you from Susan (Lowry) & Hirotaka Hiwatashi

Thank you so much for making our wedding ceremony truly special. It was so easy leaving everything to you, and still  it was a unique and special celebration.  The Japanese included in the ceremony was an especially touching surprise.  The pictures, despite the wind, also turned out lovely.  Thank you again for all that you did.

Hawaii Beach Wedding-magic island-Hawaii wedding planners

Jan. 17, 2013 was chosen as their very special day at Magic Island, the wedding of the beautiful Natalie Bourdon to Michael ChmiLar of Kamloops, B.C.  The wedding day at magic island started with Michael & his Dad arriving early, to set up chairs for the comfort of their 20 plus relatives and friends.  What a guy!  As the guys waited at the wedding site, everyone started to arrive by cabs, and here comes Natalie, beautiful in white, along with the couple’s extremely cute little daughter, playing shy. White floral lei’s were presented to the parents.  Natalie carried a beautiful bouquet made with lilies, and lots of branches with sprays of white/purplish dandrob/orchids.  The wedding began with professional (Baron Bento) singer/ukulele player with the wedding  intro, Natalie walking up with her Dad to the smiling handsome Michael.  Their own special vows to each other was very touching. The Rev. Michael Nelson did a very nice personalized wedding ceremony incorporating the blessing, ring exchange and the lei exchange.  Nat and Michael’s daughter wore the rings around her neck (like a lei) representing the ring bearer.  She is adorable!  Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Michael ChmiLar!  Lots of photo images were taken with many happy smiles and congratulations. They all dined and celebrated at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach that evening.  Mahalo for sharing your special day with us. We enjoyed meeting you and hope you enjoy your stay here.  We hope you enjoyed all the ukulele music through out ceremony and photo shoot.   Aloha!

The wedding of her dreams – Romantic Hawaii wedding

“The wedding of her dreams”, Nov. 1, 2012 for Jessica Brooks. What a beautiful serene day it was for Jessica Brooks and Matthew Weil, at Waialae Beach. It was gorgeous with the two nearest islands in the distance, low tide with the water so clean and clear. The gentle beauty of the water was so inviting. A beautiful garden like spot, with Rev. Mike Nelson’s ceremony of love. Jessica and Matthew each gave their vows to each other, with lots of emotion and tears. Every moment was captured on video and still images, so they can take back the memories to share with their parents.

Jessica was beautiful in her soft flowing gown and Matthew looked Hawaiian in his bright Aloha shirt. They each said their thank you’s to their mom on the video tape. They will fly to and enjoy the island of Hawaii and Maui before returning home to Rochester. N.Y. Their trip from New York to Hawaii was a story in it self because of the hurricane. We were very happy that they got to Hawaii safe and have been enjoying things after all the stress. What a very nice couple, congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Weil! Mahalo so much for having us share your special day. We hope you enjoy your photos and video tape of your wedding.
