Weddings Hawaii – memories by wedaloha

Feb 6, 2013, the day is finally here for their very special wedding vows to each other!  Here comes the limousine with driver, Alton at the wheels!  Out jumps Robin and Mike, (beaming) along with couple of their very good friends.  Today, at Kahala Beach, Robin Breedlove  will become the loving wife of Michaey l Thomas.  Beautiful Robins looks so pretty in her Hawaiian printed sun dress (black/dark blue), and Mike is handsome in his black shirt.  They look cool! Rev. Michael Nelson greets them with much Aloha.  A beautiful  sunny day, a little cloudy, calm waters looking out toward Kokohead crater.  A serene spot next to the beach (like a little island of their own) makes a perfect spot for the ceremony. A very special ceremony by Rev. Mike, incorporating the wedding vows written by the couple for each other.  A very nice and emotional moment for them.  Tears of happiness flowed freely.  The blessing of the rings, and the marriage were beautiful, followed by lei exchanges (kisses of each cheek). Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Michael Thomas. Congratulations!  Of course they had to be made legally married, signing of the the marriage license, the keepsake wedding certificate.  Photos, photos galore.  After the ceremony, a little sprinkle of rain for good luck, we call it pineapple juice. Robin is A FB friend of ours.Thank you so much for sharing your special day with us.  We really enjoyed meeting you both and your friends.  By the way, they went to Germaine’s Luau to celebrate with their friends.  A limo ride back to the hotel sipping champagne was refreshing, I bet.  Mahalo  have a safe trip home to Bakersville, California and please visit us again someday.

Japanese-Hawaii weddings- Dream come true

A dream wedding in paradise came true for a lovely couple from Japan. They had a civil marriage ceremony in Japan, but wanted a dream Hawaiian wedding ceremony, and to enjoy a beautiful honeymoon.  On Jan 20, 2013, the beautiful Kaori Hayakawa and Mamoru Hayakawa realized their dream wedding ceremony at Waialae Beach. The happy couple arrived with their parents and friends on a 10 passenger limousine with so much eagerness.  Kaori was gorgeous in her very formal wedding gown with a beautiful full bustle and train. (this is normal for Japanese brides getting married in Hawaii). Mamoru  was handsome in his tux,( black & white).  Kaori’s french bouquet was in pastel pink, ivory and white, roses galore with some tropical tiny orchid sprinkles.  The color of the bouquet gave a nice accent to her soft fairness. A beautiful wedding ceremony in Hawaiian-Japanese-English by Rev. Luna (Boyd) was received with appreciation. Rev. Luna dressed in white & adorned with kukui nut leis, truly represented the Hawaiian atmosphere. A lei exchanged was shared, as the serene waters off Kahala beach sparkled with sunshine.  What a moment for Mr. & Mrs. Hayakawa, with parents and friends watching.  Many photos were taken to share the moments with those at home.  Thank you so much, Mamoru, to put your trust in us, making a dream wedding for Kaori.  A limo ride and champagne awaited them for their journey to the Hyatt to celebrate at their fine restaurant. Congratulations and have a great trip home to Japan.

Wedding-thank you from Susan (Lowry) & Hirotaka Hiwatashi

Thank you so much for making our wedding ceremony truly special. It was so easy leaving everything to you, and still  it was a unique and special celebration.  The Japanese included in the ceremony was an especially touching surprise.  The pictures, despite the wind, also turned out lovely.  Thank you again for all that you did.

Intimate wedding at Waialae Beach Hawaii

Aug 10, 2012 a quiet intimate wedding at Waialae Beach for Lindh Tran and Kin Fung. Beautiful wedding vows exchanged, with Rev. Luna (Boyd) pronouncing them as Mr. & Mrs. Kin Fong. Dressed in a long flowing gown, Lindh was beautiful with Kin in black tuxedo. What a nice looking couple from West Covina, California. Rev. Luna did a wonderful ceremony to be well remembered. Precious photo images were documented during their wedding, not to mention the many beautiful wedding portraits taken after the ceremony. Aloha and have a safe trip home.
