It was quite emotional and happy. They arrived with their best friends to support them. The Reverend Kermit arrived to call out “Hey, Matey” and we all got be friends right away. It was a beautiful day compared to the day before, which stormed with heavy rain and thunderstorm. Luck was on their side. To celebrate, they had already traveled to the Island of Maui, and from here spend some time in Las Vegas, California. The Hawaii vow renewal of Tanya and Trevor, presented by Reverend Kermit started with the high tones of the conch. Floral and shell leis were first presented to their dear friends. Love is in the air as they held hands and locked their eyes. Accepting the vows, memories returned and tears of happiness from everyone. Reverend Kermit delivered a memorable ceremony. A white flower lei for Tanya and a shell lei for Trevor to seal the vow renewal as a gift of Aloha. A wonderful couple, the renewed Tanya and Trevor. Hawaii vow renewal for the whole family

We are going to Hawaii to have a romantic Hawaii vow renewal ceremony, would you like to join us to have a family vacation?  They asked their two teenage daughter and son with excitement. What do you think their answer was?  Masako and Bryan Ritch happily married for twenty years decided to celebrate their twentieth wedding anniversary by having their vows renewed, have a honeymoon and have a Hawaii vacation with the kids all in one package. They contacted us to plan the Hawaii vow renewal portion. They found a condominium at Ilikai Hotel just on the outskirt of Waikiki, saving some cost with a kitchen to do their meals. This is a great and reasonable place to stay, many of our Hawaii vow renewal couples stay here. Not to mention, it is very close to the location we call Magic Island where Masako and Bryan chose to renew their vows. On August 21, 2017, Masako and Bryan happily arrived with their good looking teens, at Ala Moana Park. The loving couple, still very much in love as they looked at each lovingly, wore matching green Aloha print attires. She had a large orchid flower in her hair. Son and daughter wore dark blue Aloha attire chosen by Masako. They looked great, well tanned and looking very local teenagers. Here is Reverend Michael Nelson who will lead them through the ceremony and renew their marriage. We stroll along the green grass to what we call Magic Island near the man made lagoon. It was quite a beautiful day, except it threatened to rain earlier. Not to worry, the panoramic vista view of the beautiful blue ocean, Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head in the background is the setting of the Hawaii vow renewal ceremony of Masako and Bryan Ritch. Many beautiful photos to enjoy, memories of their Hawaiian vacation and the joy of a loving Hawaii vow renewal ceremony. As the children watched their parents join hands and lovingly looked at each other, the vows and memories of twenty years ago. Hawaiian ceremony of conch, unity sand ceremony, and lei exchange. Wed Twenty years ago, return for Hawaii vow renewal

We married them twenty years ago, today a Hawaii vow renewal ceremony will be celebrated with the presence of their beautiful three teenage children. Debbie and John Campsmith from Austin, Texas has chosen beautiful Waimanalo Bay Beach Park, Sherwood Forest as their Hawaii vow renewal ceremony location. August 14, 2017 they all arrived all the way from the North shore on Oahu looking with anticipation to once again meet up the Reverend Frank Mak, who originally married them. Their ceremony twenty years ago was held in a location totally different, being the lush gardens of Kualoa Ranch. Arriving casually dressed but very stylish. They all were color coordinated in cream.  Debbie and their two daughters looked gorgeous in haku head leis. John and son looked handsome with white leis. The beautiful ocean of Waimanalo Bay was a little balmy, but still beautiful with mile long sandy beach and little islands like Rabbit island in the background. Rain was a threatening factor, pineapple juice is what Reverend Frank call it, a omen of good luck. Situating the ceremony under the Sherwood Forest trees, but still have the scenic view of the beach, was great in case of rain. The wish for Debbie and John to use their exact same Vows of their marriage twenty years ago was a beautiful thought, At that time, there were no children, they were in the thoughts only of the then new Debbie and John. But today, son and daughters are present to hear them repeat their marriage vows, which started the lives they enjoy together today. Reverend Mak delivered his Aloha welcome in the Hawaiian language (oh, so familiar to the couple). Beautiful emotional vows, prayers and blessing were the gift of the Hawaii vow renewal from Reverend Frank Mak. Congratulations and may your love keep your family loving with Aloha. Mahalo from A wedding in Hawaii

Memories of our Hawaii vow renewals

We have had many Hawaii vow renewals enjoyed by couples all over the world, but most are from the United States. We enjoy planning these joyous rite just as much as the loving couples themselves. Families join in and have a cry or two and have a wonderful time. Many have written back and thanked us for the nice memories of a stress free Ohana style (family) gathering. Hawaii with the many different ethnic background and traditions have popularized the enjoyment of Hawaii vow renewal ceremony. Locally they celebrate the fiftieth anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony and invite hundreds of people to their luau or reception. Good luck is involved. Loyd and Chau of Texas will celebrate their twentieth anniversary soon and chose August 9, 2017 to have the memories of Hawaii vow renewals to enjoy as they honeymoon. They have known each other as high school sweethearts and have twenty nine years of love together with two children to be proud of. On August 9, 2017 they arrived at Waialae Beach Park looking so very youthful stylishly dressed for the beach vow renewal. She looked lovely and petite in a summer dress of cream color, he tall and handsome dressed accordingly in tan and cream color outfit.  Reverend Michael Nelson got to know a little about them to personalize his vow renewal ceremony. A beautiful day, low tide with blue waters, Loyd and Chau strolled hand in hand on the sandy beach. Kahala Beach if where the grassy knolls are for staging the ceremony with the backdrop of the beach and little islands. Hawaii vow renewals as well as Hawaii weddings usually begin with the conch blowing by the minister, to announce that something important was about to happen. This is according to ancient Hawaiian history. Reverend asked for their commitment to reavow their marriage with vows different from their original but having the same meaning of promise. Holding hands, eyes locked, they took their vows with tears in their eyes. Memories filled them with emotion. A beautiful, beautiful moment full of love. Exchanging the gift of Aloha concluded the renewal of Loyd and Chau. Congratulations and return to us someday with your children. Mahalo with Aloha.

By the time we gather at our site in this case, Kahala Beach, we are all happy and like friends.  Nicole and William just celebrated five years of happy love and marriage and it is celebration time with their beautiful (two) daughters standing by. William’s parents joined them on this journey and gifted them with a limousine ride to and from the Hawaii vow renewal site. How sweet. A morning in Hawaii, so beautiful and serene, ocean waters at low tide and turquoise waters. After the ceremony they stayed a while to frolic on the sandy beach and warm waters. Reverend Michael Nelson was the officiant. As we gathered under the coconut trees, he blew the conch in perfect harmony. (He charged his battery). A unity sand ceremony was enjoyed, and surprisingly they did have a sand ceremony five years ago for their original wedding at home. A loving Vow to each other, to continue loving and caring for each other and their children. New beautiful rings were exchanged, how lucky, Nicole. Two wonderful people with two beautiful girls.
