Ohana family style Hawaii weddings

It is one of the busiest day of the year 2017, for Hawaii weddings, July 7, 2017 (7/7/17). Probably the easiest to remember as a anniversary date. They finally did it, as their Mom said. Jaime Valenzuela and Sergio Perez have been happily together for many years. They have a beautiful family of two boys and two girls, all with very awesome curly black hair. Beautiful Jaime dressed in white gown holding a gorgeous handmade bouquet, Sergio looked real cool, spotting a fragrant Maile lei. All the children looked so cute in white. Mom was there caring for the couple’s little one. Her other grown children also were there to support their Aunty and Uncle getting married. Our Hawaii weddings are performed Ohana style, meaning family get together in a group in a relaxed style. The arches and chairs on the sand that you see used by some wedding planners are not legal. However, It is legal in the park on the grass and tree line, but not on the sand. The wedding of Jaime and Sergio begins on the sandy dunes of Waialae Beach which is a bit breezy. The grassy wedding sites across the way are filled with weddings in progress. The problem is this is 7/7/17, a popular week day. Today is Jaime’s and Sergio’s special day and Reverend Michael Nelson provided them with a memorable Hawaiian ceremony they forever remember. With their children there, it was such a wonderful family affair. They will enjoy the Paradise Cove luau together. Congratulations, friends and  Mahalo for choosing us.

Intimate Hawaii weddings on Oahu

Hawaii weddings, May 15, 2017, it is Monday, a beautiful sunny Hawaiian day although forecast of showers loomed through out the day. Waimanalo Bay Beach Sherwood forest, beautiful white sandy beach with miles of blue/green water, capped with white waves. A beautiful day for Hawaii weddings. A few Hawaii weddings are happening spaced apart by miles of sandy beaches. But today for our Hawaiian wedding ceremony of Akane Motoyoshi and King Watson will be intimately, romantic with just the two of them, locked in the world of their own with the just the sound of the waves washing up on the sand. What a beautiful and nice couple, so friendly and so in love. Although beautiful, it was a bit breezy, helping Akane to pin away flying wisp of her beautiful ebony hair. Akane looked so happy wearing a casual dress and checkered shoes with heels. King looked formal with white shirt, tie and khaki trousers.  Reverend Michael Nelson cranked up his conch shell with a welcome sound.  Holding hands, looking into each other’s eyes, they promised to commit to the vows of their marriage. Traditionally for our Hawaii weddings,  a sand ceremony precedes the vows, with two bottles of sand combine into one pouch. This ceremony indicates the combining of their lives before, present and the future. A beautiful intimate ceremony. (the groom indicated his pleasure for this ceremony). The vows of marriage as they held hands facing each other, so romantic. The feeling of love was felt by us, as they repeated their ” I do”.  The beautiful gold rings so brilliant in the sun, were blessed as they were raised above their heads before exchanging. Blessings of the leis which are gifts of Aloha, they each gave their love and thank you in a private message. A beautiful  wedding, perfection of weddings in Hawaii by Rev. Mike. “I know pronounce you husband and wife”. Congratulations to the Akene and King Watson. They live in Hawaii, but King travels between Oklahoma & other places for his FAA  job, Mahalo so much for having us. You are a great couple, much Aloha to you.

Hawaii weddings

Love is in the air. Hawaii weddings can be fun and be a family affair Maria and Ramon of Fresno, California brought their families to be part of their very special day. Everyone had a hand in making and planning this day a special one for them.  On January 22, 2016, at Kahala Beach, a perfect day for Hawaii weddings, sunshine, cool and serene waters.  Relatives had crafted hair pins with star ceramic star fish, the cake was gorgeous with star fish decorated (yes, star fish was the theme). A bouquet so heavily laden with beautiful roses and cacti, was gorgeous with Maria’s cream colored gown. The bouquet was made by her friend or had it made.  Ramon, always smiling, black tux and gold vest matching their son’s outfit. Oliver is a cutie.  This happy couple is so much in love, they have been together for while, but happiness radiates from their smiles. The wedding ceremony began with the sounding of the conch shell by Rev. Michael Nelson. With the close knit family and friends surrounding them, Aloha and welcome was extended by Rev Mike.  We start by mixing of lives by the sand ceremony participation. Most Hawaii weddings do not include free sand ceremonies, however, we feel that beginning life by blending two lives into one is of great importance.  This symbolic gesture begins life of love, forever.  With the little islands in the ocean, in the background, a beautiful Hawaiian wedding was in the making.  Marriage vows were repeated, looking into each other’s eyes with love. Promising to love and accept each other forever.  Beautiful rings, chosen by both, as a couple, given and accepted. Prayers for the union of Maria and Ramon toward a  happy marriage with Oliver and children to come. Floral leis exchange for Hawaii weddings is a must.  Kisses on each cheek symbolizes Hawaiian gift giving. We now present the new Maria and Ramon, husband and wife, Hawaii weddings of love. Many pictures will be enjoyed by all. The beautiful wedding cake was cut by the couple and fed to each other. Yummy.  Our thank you for sharing your day with us. Much love and Aloha.

A Wedding in Hawaii extends our fond welcome, our 2016 New Years day wedding couple, Meghan Mueller and Carson Schultz of Honolulu, Hawaii.  Working professionals in Honolulu, this handsome couple looked so happy, holding hands as they arrived at Waialae Beach Park. A quiet wedding in Hawaii on the beach was very appealing to them, being so busy with work.  The limousine arrived, met by Rev. Kimo Taylor and Roger.  Beautiful bride, gorgeous  beaded gown,  smiling Meghan looked so happy looking at handsome Carson in his dark colored suit.  Many couples elect to write their own vows to each other, and couples are encouraged to do so for our wedding in Hawaii.  Especially special is to listen to the vows that you wrote if your wedding package included video of the occasion. Rev. Kimo Taylor honored them with a wonderful, memorable New Years wedding ceremony.  They will begin the new year being Meghan and Carson Schultz, which sounds like heaven to them.  They looked elegant standing together, her beaded gown with the train arranged to spread out in back to the left front. With Carson, chic, in dark suit next to her, a perfect picture of bride and groom. Meghan had a beautiful tropical bouquet to accept her gown.  Rev Kimo welcomed them with  Aloha.  He is of Hawaiian-German ancestry, his ceremony tones with Hawaiian/English  blessings and language.  To begin with the blending of two lives to come together, the participation of  a unity sand ceremony was enjoyed.  Their own vows were exchanged with deep love, sharing and devotion. Wedding in Hawaii for all

A wedding in Hawaii offers wedding and vow renewal services to all couples all over the world.  Everyone who come to enjoy their wedding in Hawaii find the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere of Hawaii beaches. Paul Thorsen and Todd Borowy of Las Vegas chose us to plan their wedding, we assured them Hawaii is very friendly with every type of wedding including same sex weddings.  They were a bit nervous but they brought along many friends to support them though out the day.  On November 11, 2015,  we met the wonderful couple,  Paul and Todd along with their friends, at Waialae Beach Park.  We gathered speaking with Rev. Karen Mak to go over the ceremony.  They signed their marriage license first before strolling over to Kahala Beach for the ceremonial agenda.  All their friends were assigned a task for the wedding ceremony, a brilliant idea for it created a bond and feeling of comfort for the couple. Their friends brought many flower leis for everyone to wear for this special occasion. A special type of leis for the couple made of t-leaf and fragrant tuberose.  Strolling on the sandy beach to the wedding location, photos were taken with the smiling couple soaking in the beautiful view of the beach, and distant island scene. Wedding in Hawaii at Kahala Beach have experienced the view of the island of Molokai and Maui on a clear cloudless day. Paul ad Todd looked very stylish for your wedding, dressed in dressy but casual tan Hawaiian wear.  Rev. Karen opened the ceremony by a happy “Aloha” greetings. A blessing and prayer for the new union of Paul and Todd. The vows were beautiful, a reading by a member of their guest, participating parties for the blending their lives with a sand ceremony, their close friend spoke of support through their lives, rings were provided by another friend which was blessed and exchanged. Their best friends presented the special leis to them.  And finally, Rev. Karen blessed them with a prayer and pronounced them the newlywed Paul and Todd.  Cheers from everyone.  What a nice wedding ceremony. They look so happy and finally very relaxed. Wedding in Hawaii

A wedding in Hawaii for beautiful Eva Savala and Pat Onofrio on Sept 14, 2015. The arrival of gorgeous Eva with happy husband to be, Pat, was a sunshine of happiness. They arrived via limousine radiantly happy. They were both stylishly dressed in casual whites. Eva had chosen a chic short dress, like it was made just for her. Beautiful. She got her bouquet from the Hale Koa flower shop, fragrance of plumeria and white ginger blossoms.  Rev. Michael Nelson was there to welcome them for their wedding in Hawaii. Their desire for a wedding in Hawaii on the sandy beaches were honored by having the ceremony at the Waialae Beach instead of the Kahala Beach.  It was a gorgeous day, however great day for wind surfers as well.  So the wind surfers in the ocean was partly a background for their wedding ceremony.  But they were so happy just having fun on their wedding in Hawaii, they did not mind at all.  A short but memorable wedding ceremony was provided by Rev. Mike.  Beginning their life together, enjoyment of the unity sand ceremony. In accepting each other in marriage.  Faith, hope and Love, the three virtues in marriage, most importantly, being Love. The commitment accepted by each, leading into the vow exchange.  Raising the ring and reflecting at it as a blessing was done.  Exchanging of the rings followed by the prayer for the new Eva and Pat.  Flower leis were given as a gift of love . A wedding in Hawaii, another dream has come true. Much love and happiness.  Fun taking portraits and many photos before they headed back sipping champagne in the limousine. They will celebrate by dinning at the Orchids at Halekulani. Congratulations and mahalo for having us. A wedding in Hawaii.

Wedding in Hawaii

A beautiful stress free wedding in Hawaii for Jacqueline and Erik Collay from San Bernadino. A larger wedding package was chosen but they decided on a less frill wedding in Hawaii. They arrived via limousine with their many loved ones to support them. Although a  little rain helped to cool the hot day, a little “take cover” happened during the picture taking. But today August 15, 2015 at Kahala Beach, they were lucky enough to have a memorable ceremony before the shower.  Rev Michael Nelson worked out a special sand ceremony incorporated with our style, including a picture frame and colored sand provided by Jacqueline and Erik, to create a beautiful design. The ceremony was started with the sounding of conch shell to announce the wedding in Hawaii. Their two children walked in as flower girl and ring bearer, followed by the bride to the groom.  Moms and Dads and other loved ones gathered to witness Jacqueline’s and Erik’s wedding in Hawaii Rev. Mike welcomed them and asked if they were ready to take the vow of marriage. With a ” I will”  response from both, the meaning of marriage and unity was said. The beautiful sand ceremony of unity involved the couple as well as their two children creating a beautiful design of yellow, gray and white sands in a photo frame.  The wedding vows to each other, holding hands looking into each others eyes, they repeated their vows after Rev. Mike. Tears of emotion, Jacqueline. Rings to exchange, a blessing with the flower leis wrapped around their clasped hands. The exchange of the gift of love with kisses on each cheek.  What a beautiful couple on their wedding in Hawaii.  Congratulations all around with hooting and clapping; signing of the marriage certificate to make it official. Wedding in Hawaii presents the new Jacqueline and Eric Collay.    Mahalo for having us on your special day.   wedaloha.com
